Ole Miss Rebels Game Notes
Jaxson Dart completed 13-of-24 passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns Saturday against Tulsa, while also rushing 13 times for 116 yards in the 35-27 win. Dart has not been asked to shoulder much of the offensive load to begin the season, as Ole Miss has relied on the ground game with Zach Evans and Quinshon Judkins. Still, Dart helped his own cause with his first 100-yard rushing outing of the season, and it was the second time in 2022 he has passed for at least two touchdowns. A tough task looms next weekend against Kentucky, though.
Vanderbilt Commodores Game Notes
AJ Swann completed 13-of-26 passes for 115 yards at Alabama on Saturday. Swann did not turn the ball over, but the offense found little success other than an opening-quarter field goal in the 55-3 thrashing at the hands of the Tide. Vandy is off next weekend before another difficult matchup with a ranked Ole Miss squad.
