UTSA Roadrunners Game Notes
Frank Harris went 20-for-31 for 392 yards and four touchdowns against Texas Southern on Saturday. He also ran four times for 31 yards and a score. Sure, this was an FCS team, but Harris is back in business. The usually-reliable quarterback struggled in Austin against the Longhorns, but in his three other games this season he’s thrown for over 330 yards with at least three passing touchdowns.
Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders Game Notes
Chase Cunningham went 16-for-25 for 408 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception against Miami (FL) on Saturday. He also rushed nine times for 29 yards and a score. Coming back from a season-ending leg injury in 2021, Cunningham was easing back into action, completing most of his passes, but barely racking up any yards. In fact, he had 592 yards passing total through his first three games. This game will definitely turn some heads. Let’s see what he does for an encore against UTSA next time out.
