Oklahoma vs. TCU Pick
Will Oklahoma and TCU rack up enough points on Saturday evening to cash the over for bettors?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Sooners are 3.5-point road favorites versus the Horned Frogs after opening as a 2-point favorite. As for the total, the over/under currently sits at 69.5 after opening at that same number.
OKALHOMA: The Sooners are now 1-2 on the year after falling to Ohio State 45-24 two weeks ago as a 2-point underdog. Baker Mayfield threw for 226 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions on 17-fo-32 passing while Joe Mixon rushed nine times for 78 yards in the loss. OU's defense allowed J.T. Barrett to throw for just 152 yards but the OSU quarterback also had four touchdowns.
TCU: The Horned Frogs are now 3-1 on the year and 1-3 against the spread after beating SMU 33-3 as a 21.5-point home favorite last week. Kenny Hill completed 31-of-45 passes for 452 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the victory. John Diarse also had a big receiving day, hauling in six passes for 139 yards and a touchdown.
OUR PICK: The over is 9-1 in the Sooners' last 10 games coming off a loss and 25-9-1 in their last 35 conference games. The over is also 8-3 in Oklahoma's last 11 games overall and is 11-5-1 in its last 17 road games as well. On the other side, the over is a perfect 4-0 in TCU's lat four home games and is 4-1 in their last five games overall. Expect a shootout in Fort Worth on Saturday.
