Tulane falls at UAB

The Tulane Green Wave are 1-2 on the season following a 31-24 loss at UAB last weekend. Tulane is 2-1 against the spread while going 2-1 with the under. The Green Wave have hit the under in five of their last seven games.

The Green Wave are giving up 23.7 points and 465.3 yards per game. That includes 200 rushing yards per game. On offense, Tulane is averaging 27.7 points and 416.3 yards per game. Corey Dauphine and Darius Bradwell have combined for 443 rushing yards and four touchdowns to lead the offense while Jonathan Banks has thrown for 651 yards and five touchdowns. Darnell Mooney is the leading receiver with 18 catches for 308 yards and three scores.

Ohio State tops TCU

The Ohio State football team is coming off a 40-28 win over TCU last weekend at AT&T Stadium to move to 3-0 on the year. The Buckeyes get Urban Meyer back this week following his 3-game suspension. They are 2-1 against the spread this season while hitting the over in two of their three games.

Ohio State has been dominant on offense, putting up 56.3 points and 608.7 yards per game so far. Dwayne Haskins has looked steady at QB, throwing for 890 yards and 11 touchdowns thus far. The tandem of Mike Weber and J.K. Dobbins have rushed for over 500 yards with four touchdowns. The Buckeyes are holding opponents to just 20.7 points and 345.7 yards per game.

College Football Betting Trends

Tulane

Tulane has hit the under in four of their last five non-conference games and in five of their last seven overall.

Ohio State

Purdue has hit the over in 10 of its last 14 games overall and in nine of their last 12 following a win.

Prediction:

Ohio State has been able to score a ton of points this year and it should be able to score at least 50 in this game against Tulane. There is potential for even more than that. Tulane has a horrible run defense and Ohio State should carve it up. The Green Wave will need to be able to score a few times for the over to hit, but I think they can in garbage time. I like Ohio State to get another over behind its offense.
