FAU with back-to-back wins
Florida Atlantic has picked up back-to-back wins over Air Force and Bethune Cookman after dropping the opener at Oklahoma, 63-14. The Owls have failed to cover in all three games and are 2-1 with the over.
FAU has been improving on both sides of the ball since the loss to Oklahoma. The Owls are putting up 32 points and 469.3 yards per contest on offense right now while allowing 39.3 points and 451.7 yards per contest. Chris Robison has thrown for 799 yards and four touchdowns to lead the offense while Devin Singletary has rushed for 210 yards and seven scores. Jovon Durante has added 23 catches for 298 yards and two touchdowns.
UCF cruising early
Central Florida had its game with North Carolina postponed due to the hurricane but the Knights are off to a 2-0 start with wins over Connecticut and South Carolina State. UCF is 1-1 against the spread in the two games while splitting the over/under total. The Knights have hit the over in five of their last seven games as a program.
The Knights have been very strong on defense, allowing 8.5 points and 371.5 yards per contest. Offensively, UCF is scoring 47 points per game while putting up 609 yards per contest. McKenzie Milton has thrown for 589 yards and six touchdowns to lead the offense while three backs have over 100 rushing yards and three receivers have over 100 receiving yards.
College Football Betting Trends
FAU has hit the over in five of their last six road games but have hit the under in four of their last five against a team with a winning record.
UCF is 10-1 with the under in their last 11 games following a bye and 21-4-1 with the under in their last 26 games in September.
While each team has been able to showcase offense this season, the total just seems far too great for this game. A lot of things have to go right to push toward 80 points between the two squads. FAU struggled to move the ball against Oklahoma and the Knights have a very strong defense that should give the Owls some trouble.
College Football Prediction: FAU/UCF Under 75
