Alabama vs. Ole Miss Pick
Will Alabama and Ole Miss turn into a shootout when the two teams clash at 3:30PM ET on Saturday?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Crimson Tide is a 10.5-point road favorite versus the Rebels while the over/under currently sits at 54.5 points. The total hasn't moved off the original number set by oddsmakers but the line has gone from Alabama -9.5 up to -10.5.
ALABAMA: The Crimson Tide covered in both of its games to open the season, beating USC 52-6 as a 13.5-point favorite in the opening weekend of the season and Western Kentucky 38-10 as a 27-point fave last Saturday. Freshman quarterback Jalen Hurts threw for two touchdown passes on 23-of-36 passing and 287 yards while Calvin Ridley posted nine catches for 129 yards and a score in the victory.
OLE MISS: The Rebels washed the bad taste from their loss to Florida State out of their mouths last week with a 38-13 win over Wofford last Saturday. They still didn't cover, however, failing to do so as a 43-point home favorite. Quarterback Chad Kelly completed 20-of-27 passes for 219 yards with three touchdowns in the win, while Akeem Judd had 11 rushes for 64 yards on the afternoon.
OUR PICK: The under is 6-2 in the last eight meetings between these two teams and is 23-7 in the Rebels' last 30 games overall. The under is also 22-7 in Ole Miss' last 29 games versus a team with a winning record and 6-1 in its last seven home games. On the other side, the under is 4-1 in the Crimson Tide's last five conference games and is 14-5 in its last 19 games after accumulating more than 450 total yards in its previous contest.
