Oregon vs. Michigan St. Odds
The featured game of the college football weekend has No. 5 Michigan State hosting No. 7 Oregon on Saturday at 8PM ET on ABC. Here’s a look at the odds for the contest.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Michigan State is a slight favorite at home, as the Spartans are getting odds of -3 points against Oregon on Saturday night. The over/under total for the game has been set at 64.5 points. These two met last year in Oregon with the Ducks getting a 46-27 win, covering a 14-point spread. The two also hit the over of 57 points.
Michigan State started the year with a 37-24 win at Western Michigan. The Spartans failed to cover a 16.5-point spread, but they did go over the 55-point total. MSU had 452 yards of offense in the win, but allowed Western Michigan to throw for 365 yards. Connor Cook threw for 256 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Spartans while Aaron Burbridge caught four passes for 117 yards.
Oregon opened the season with a 61-42 win over Eastern Washington at home. The Ducks were 35-point favorites coming into the game, but they did easily go over the 78.5-point total. While the Ducks had 731 yards of offense, it also gave up 549 yards to Eastern Washington. New Oregon QB Vernon Adams had 246 passing yards with two touchdowns while rushing for 94 yards on 14 carries. Royce Freeman rushed for 180 yards and three touchdowns in the win.
