College Football Betting Trends
Iowa
Iowa is 4-1-1 against the spread in its last six home games and 9-3-1 ATS in its last 13 games on fieldturf.
Iowa State
The Cyclones are 6-0-1 against the spread in their last seven road games and they have covered the spread in five straight non-conference games.
Prediction:
Iowa has won the last three in this series and I like the Hawkeyes at home. This should be a defensive battle, but the Hawkeyes have always been tough at home. They beat Iowa State 42-3 at home back in 2016 and I expect their defense will be too tough for the Cyclones today. Iowa State should give Iowa some problems as well with their defense, but I expect the Hawkeyes to grind out the victory.
