Everett Golson impresses in Florida State debut, Seminoles cover spread

Florida State graduate and Notre Dame transfer Everett Golson was impressive in his debut with the Seminoles on Saturday.

Golson completed 19-of-25 passes for 302 yards and four touchdowns in FSU's 59-16 blasting of Texas State in Tallahassee on Saturday. He was 12-of-16 for 228 yards in the second half alone and the four touchdowns matched his career-high. The 300-yard performance was also the seventh of his career.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, Jimbo Fisher's Seminoles were 27.5-point favorites over the Bobcats at kickoff and FSU covered easily in the 59-16 win. The combined score also went over the posted total of 63.5 points.
