After attending Ferris State’s Michigan Collegiate Showcase, Lester (6’3/188) found his home in Kalamazoo for the next four-plus years. The Kenwood Academy product is the second prospect heading to Western Michigan in the 2023 class with Kiwaun Davis joining him. Lester is the 10th prospect committed to the Broncos, who have the 37th-ranked class in the nation.
Michigan State Spartans Game Notes
Michigan State HC Mel Tucker wore a t-shirt saying “All about the ball” making a statement about the season. After an excellent season and solid offseason for the Spartans, Tucker is looking to take the program to the next level. How does that start? Winning the turnover battle. “The biggest determining factor for winning and losing is turnover margin,” Tucker said. “So you need to take care of it and you need to take it away (on defense).” Winning that battle could help take them to the next level, but Ohio State still stands in their way.
