Can top-ranked Villanova find a way to stay undefeated and beat No. 10 Creighton when the two meet up today at 1PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at, Villanova is a slim favorite on the road, as the Wildcats are getting odds of -1 point against Creighton. The over/under total for the game is listed at 154.5 points. Villanova has won four straight meetings with Creighton, covering the spread in three of the four meetings.

Bet on Villanova vs. Creighton

Villanova is a perfect 13-0 on the season and 7-5 against the spread following a 68-65 win over DePaul back on Wednesday. The Wildcats have been able to maintain their high-level of play from winning the national title last season. This year’s squad is averaging 79.8 points per game while holding opponents to only 61.5 points per outing. Josh Hart is averaging 20.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game to lead the team while three others are also scoring in double figures.

Creighton also comes into this game at 13-0 on the season while posting a 9-3 record against the spread. The Bluejays are coming off an 89-75 win over Seton Hall on Wednesday for their fourth cover in five games. Creighton has a high-scoring offense that averages 89.8 points per game while shooting 53.9 percent from the field and 44.6 percent from 3-point land. Defensively, Creighton is giving up 72 points per contest. Marcus Foster is leading Creighton with 18.8 points per game while Maurice Watson Jr. is averaging 13.5 points and 9.1 assists per game.

This is a big game for Creighton, as the Bluejays have a chance to really establish themselves as a national title contender. However, Creighton hasn’t had many tough games since beating Wisconsin early in the season. Nova still has the experience of last year’s tournament run to go on and that should help against a high-powered Creighton offense. The Bluejays are good from beyond the arc, but Nova defends the 3-point shot very well and I see that being the difference in this game.
