Townes wins it for Bulldogs

SaBastian Townes hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 17.6 seconds left eight days ago as Bryant earned a 68-67 home win over Dartmouth. Bryant outscored the visitors 42-33 in the second half to secure the win. Townes led the Bulldogs with 23 points on 9-of-15 shooting to go with five rebounds. Joe Kasperzyk tallied 19 points, four asissts and two caroms off the bench. Adam Grant contributed 11 points, four boards and three dimes. Bryant shot 24-of-50 from the floor, 5-of-15 from 3-point range and 15-of-22 on free throw attempts.

Hawkeyes win fourth in a row

Iowa raced to a 110-64 home victory over Savannah State last Saturday to improve to 10-2 on the season. Joe Wieskamp scored a career-best 24 points to lead the way on 8-of-10 shooting including 5-of-7 on 3-pointers and 3-of-4 at the charity stripe. Jordan Bohannon contributed 18 points, four assists and three boards. Tyler Cook had 16 points, five caroms and four assists. Isaiah Moss registered 15 points, six assists and four rebounds. Riley Till added 10 points, three rebounds, two dimes and two steals off the bench. The Hawkeyes shot 39-of-70 from the floor including 19-of-42 from 3-point range and 13-of-22 from the charity stripe.

College Basketball Betting Trends

The Bulldogs are 5-16 ATS in their last 21 road games. Bryant is 1-4 ATS in its last five games following a straight up win.

The Hawkeyes are 2-5 ATS in their last seven Saturday games. Iowa is 9-4-1 ATS in its last 14 home games versus a team with a losing road record.

Cake stretch of the schedule Iowa is playing right now as it goes from playing a terrible Savannah State team to an only slightly better Bryant squad. Those two games come after a win against a Western Carolina team outside the top 300. I'm thinking Iowa might be bored with its competition and ready for Big Ten play to kick back up. Go with the Bulldogs today as I think they'll see an opponent that would rather not be playing another afterthought opponent.
