Bulldogs blast Jaguars
Butler picked up a 66-41 home win last Saturday over Southern to move to 10-1 overall and 7-0 at home. The Bulldogs jumped out to a 34-16 halftime advantage on their way to the triumph. Bryce Golden led Butler with 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting including 1-of-1 from 3-point range plus 3-of-3 at the charity stripe. He also pulled down three rebounds. College Basketball Betting Trends
The Boilermakers are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall. The under is 8-1 in the last nine Purdue games overall.
The Bulldogs are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games overall. The favorite is 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings.
The Boilermakers have a top-five defense nationally and while the Bulldogs are pretty good offensively, I think in a neutral setting I like the advantage Purdue has defensively. The Boilermakers have played a very difficult schedule and are in need of a big win or two to get their season back on track. This is a great opportunity for a resume builder away from what will be a brutal Big Ten schedule once January hits.
