Bulls hammer host Orange

Buffalo outscored host Syracuse 39-23 in the second half Tuesday night to improve to 11-0 on the season. The Bulls are 23-of-62 from the floor in the winning effort including 10-of-33 from 3-point range plus 15-of-20 at the free throw line. Buffalo held Syracuse to 24-of-57 from the field and 6-of-22 from 3-point distance, while they hosts were also 5-of-13 at the charity stripe. C.J. Massinburg led the Bulls with 25 points on 8-of-16 shooting to go with eight rebounds and five assists. Jeremy Harris accounted for 18 points, six rebounds and three steals. Davonta Jordan contributed 10 points, four rebounds and four assists. Nick Perkins added 10 points plus 12 boards off the bench.

Golden Eagles steamroll Fighting Hawks

Marquette overcome a slow start Tuesday night at home in a 92-66 victory over North Dakota. The Golden Eagles (9-2) started the game sloppily, but eventually led 49-27 at halftime en route to the win. Markus Howard paced Marquette with 26 points on 9-of-13 shooting plus three rebounds, three assists and three steals. Sam Hauser registered 21 points and five rebounds. Ed Morrow added 18 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocked shots off the bench. Marquette shot 34-of-58 from the floor in the win and 11-of-20 from 3-point range and a perfect 13-of-13 at the free throw line.

This should be a fantastic game and it's hard not to believe in the Bulls after their decisive win at Syracuse. Expect this one to go down to the wire and with the confidence Buffalo is playing with, I think they can find a way to lose by two or less, or possibly even record another huge win for its program and the Mid-American Conferece.
