Panthers edged at Bulldogs

Milwaukee lost by a score of 56-53 Tuesday night at Drake as it allowed the game-winning 3-pointer with three seconds remaining. The Panthers (5-4, 0-1 road) were outscored 30-24 in the second half of the defeat. DeAndre Abram led Milwaukee with 12 points on 4-of-15 shooting including 3-of-9 shooting plus 1-of-2 at the free throw line. He also registered seven rebounds, two steals and two blocked shots. Darius Roy accounted for nine points, four boards and three assists. Tyler Behrendt added nine points and two caroms off the bench.

Jayhawks roll past Buffaloes

Kansas earned a 72-58 home win Saturday afternoon over Colorado to improve to 7-1 overall and 4-0 at home. The Jayhawks led 34-22 at halftime on their way to the victory. Ochai Agbaji paced Kansas with 20 points on 8-of-14 shooting including 4-of-6 from 3-point distance. He also racked up 12 rebounds and two assists. Devon Dotson recorded 18 points, six assists, four boards and two steals. Udoka Azuibuike added 12 points, six caroms and three blocked shots.

College Basketball Betting Trends

Milwaukee

The Panthers are 4-0 ATS in their last four Tuesday games. Milwaukee is 6-2 ATS in its last eight games versus an opponent with a winning straight up record.

Kansas

The Jayhawks are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 home games. Kansas is 1-5 ATS in its last six Tuesday games.

Prediction:

The Jayhawks have a little bit of a lull in their schedule with back-to-back home games against teams outside the top 200 beginning with this contest against overmatched Milwaukee. Drake was by far the toughest team the Panthers had faced in their first eight games, which says a lot. Even so, this spread is huge and none of Milwaukee's four losses have been by more than six points. Expect Kansas to go through the motions a little bit, which should be enough for the Panthers to cover.
