Texas A&M vs. Arizona Pick

College Basketball Predictions: Texas A&M vs. Arizona 12/5/17

Can Arizona finally get on track when the Wildcats face No. 7 Texas A&M tonight at 9PM ET in the Valley of the Sun Shootout.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Texas A&M is favored in this game, as the Aggies are getting odds of -1.5 points against Arizona. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 146.5 points. Tonight’s game takes place from Talking Stick Resort Arena and will air live on ESPN2.

Texas A&M is off to a 7-0 start to the season including wins over USC, Penn State, Oklahoma State and West Virginia. The Aggies are 4-2 against the spread thus far. Texas A&M is putting up 82.3 points per game while allowing 65.1 per contest on defense. DJ Hogg is leading the team with 16.9 points and 7.7 rebounds per game while Tyler Davis is adding 13.6 points and 8 rebounds per contest.

Arizona had a terrible time in a recent tournament, dropping three games. Since then the Wildcats have beaten Long Beach State and UNLV, however the wins over the Rebels was in OT. Arizona is no 5-3 on the season overall and 2-5-1 against the spread. The Wildcats are putting up 85.6 points per game thus far while allowing 74.1 per contest on defense. Arizona is being led by Allonzo Trier, who is averaging 23.9 points per game. Deandre Ayton is adding 20.4 points and 11.4 rebounds per game.

Bet on Texas A&M vs. Arizona

Arizona has won two of three meetings with Texas A&M, with the Wildcats covering the spread in the three games. However, Arizona is struggling right now. They Wildcats have failed to cover in their last four neutral site games and in five straight against winning teams. Texas A&M is 11-4 ATS in their last 15 Tuesday games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven non-conference games. The public betting is siding with Texas A&M and I think the Aggies have better depth than the Wildcats. That should help them cover tonight.
