Seminoles down Boilermakers in OT

Florida State defeated Purdue by a score of 63-60 in overtime Saturday night in the championship game of the Emerald Classic. The Seminoles (7-1) were outscored 34-31 in the second half, but rebounded to outscore the Boilermakers 5-2 in the extra session. Trent Forrest paced FSU with 17 points on 6-of-13 shooting plus 5-of-6 at the free throw line. He also contributed four rebounds and three steals. Devin Vassell added 13 points, six boards, two steals and two blocked shots.

Hoosiers slow down Jackrabbits

Indiana secured a 64-50 home win Saturday night over South Dakota State to improve to 7-0 on the season and 7-0 at home. The Hoosiers led 37-26 at halftime on their way to the victory. Trayce Jackson-Davis led Indiana with 19 points on 9-of-17 shooting plus 1-of-1 at the charity stripe. He also registered 14 rebounds and four blocked shots. College Basketball Betting Trends

Florida State

The Seminoles are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. Florida State is 18-7-1 ATS in its last 26 Tuesday games.

The Hoosiers are 5-1 ATS in their last six Tuesday games. Indiana is 1-6 ATS in its last seven games versus the ACC.

Florida State plays nasty defense and stifled Purdue a few days ago. While the Hoosiers have been pretty good on the offensive end, their schedule has been weak and everything has been played at home. I think the Seminoles assert their will here in a game that will likely go down to the wire. If FSU can take down a better Purdue squad, I like its chances here even on the road.
