College Basketball Predictions: North Carolina vs. Michigan State 11/26/17

Who will come away with the PK80-Victory championship when No. 4 Michigan State takes on No. 9 North Carolina tonight at 8:30PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Michigan State is favored in tonight’s game, as the Spartans are getting odds of -2 points against North Carolina. The over/under total for the game has been set at 158 points. Tonight’s contest takes place from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon and will air live on ESPN.

North Carolina has followed up its national championship in 2017 with a 5-0 start to the 2017-18 season. The Tar Heels are 3-1 against the spread thus far following their 87-68 win over Arkansas on Friday night. The Heels are putting up 92.8 points per game this season while allowing 73.6 per contest. Luke Maye is putting up 21.2 points and 10.8 rebounds per game to lead the Heels while Joel Berry II is adding 17 points and 3.8 assists per contest.

Michigan State is coming off a 77-57 win over Connecticut on Friday. The Spartans have rolled in this tournament thus far, winning by at least 20 in both games. MSU is now 4-1 on the season and 3-2 against the spread. Michigan State is putting up 84.4 points per game this season while allowing 66.6 per game. Miles Bridges is putting up 16.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game while dealing with an ankle injury. Cassius Winston is adding 13.2 points and 7.6 assists per contest.

Bet on North Carolina vs. Michigan State

North Carolina has won seven straight meetings with Michigan State, covering the spread in all seven games in the process. UNC is also 16-7-2 ATS in its last 25 games at a neutral site. While MSU has looked good this week, the Spartans are still without a signature win the last two years with this group. I am not sure they are ready to get it today either. The public betting is narrowly siding with UNC today and I am with them.
