Of the two teams, I feel like TCU has had the more impressive road to the NIT finals. The Horned Frogs won at Iowa in OT, dominated Richmond and dominated Central Florida. Tech did beat Ole Miss and Indiana, but the Hoosiers were a mess. Their semifinal win came against an 8 seed in Bakersfield, so this is going to be a big jump in competition today. TCU should be able to match Tech’s defensive intensity and the Horned Frogs have more scoring options.
