NC State Wolfpack Notes

Greg Gantt (knee) was seen on crutches Thursday ahead of Friday's game versus Creighton, R. Cory Smith of 247Sports.com reports. Gantt seems set to miss his second straight Friday due to a right knee injury. The junior forward is averaging 2.0 points and 4.5 rebounds in 17.6 minutes across 22 games this season. NC State will have to beat Creighton in order for Gantt to have another opportunity of suiting up in March Madness.

Ryan Nembhard ended with five points (2-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt), six rebounds, six assists and one block across 31 minutes during Friday's 82-60 loss to Xavier. Taking into account his facilitating and auxiliary contributions, Friday was an overall solid game from Nembhard, but he could not find the bottom of the net. Nembhard can be oddly volatile, but his 11.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.9 assists on a 42.6/36.8/85.7 percent shooting slash have always normalized this season.
