TV: ESPN, 12:00 p.m. ET
According to oddsmakers from online sports book YouWager, the Fighting Irish are 5.5-point home favorites to knock off the Nittany Lions. As for the over/under, the number sits at 141 points at the majority of online sportsbooks. Penn State is also 5-5 straight up and 6-4 ATS over its last 10 games, while Notre Dame is 6-4 SU and 5-5 ATS.
The Fighting Irish opened as 5-point home favorites but the line has been moved to 5.5 at most online books. The total, however, has not budged after hitting the board at 141.
PUBLIC BETTING INFORMATION
As of Saturday morning, 70% of betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Fighting Irish to cover the point spread. Meanwhile, 53% of the betting tickets wagered online are on the under.
Mike Watkins (knee) is out for the Nittany Lions while Elijah Burns (knee) is questionable for the Fighting Irish.
One trend to love in this matchup if you're an 'over' bettor? In Notre Dame's last 26 games coming off a win of more than 20 points, the over is 21-5 in the Fighting Irish's next contest. The over is also 5-1 in the Irish's last six non-conference games and is a perfect 4-0 in their last four matchups with Big Ten opponents. On the other side, the over is 15-5 in PSU's last 20 road games when facing a team with a winning home record and has also cashed in five of the Nittany Lions' last seven games on the road.
