Notre Dame lost by a final score of 56-53 at Pittsburgh Saturday to drop to 13-18 overall and 3-15 on the season. The Fighting Irish were outscored 31-27 in the second half of the defeat. Notre Dame shot 17-of-52 from the floor, 9-of-26 from 3-point distance plus 10-of-15 at the free throw line. Nate Laszewski led the way with 23 points on 7-of-11 shooting including 6-of-9 from 3-point distance plus 3-of-4 at the free throw line. He also grabbed seven rebounds. Banks III wins it with dunk

James Banks III scored the game-winning basket on a dunk with one second remaining Wednesday night off a pass from Jose Alvarado, leading Georgia Tech to a 63-61 win at North Carolina State. He also notched nine rebounds, five blocked shots and three assists. Moses Wright contributed 18 points, eight boards and two blocks. Alvarado added 11 points, six caroms, four assists and three steals. The Yellowjackets shot 25-of-43 from the field, 1-of-5 from 3-point range plus 12-of-20 at the free throw line.

College Basketball Betting Trends

Notre Dame

The Fighting Irish are 6-13 ATS in their last 19 ACC games. Notre Dame is 1-11-1 ATS in the last 13 meetings.

Georgia Tech

The underdog is 10-2-1 ATS in the last 13 meetings. The Yellow Jackets are 5-2 ATS in their last seven neutral site games.

Prediction:

The Fighting Irish have played dreadful basketball as of late, although their last win was a 69-59 trumph at home over Georgia Tech back on February 10. The Yellow Jackets had previously defeated Notre Dame 63-61 in the first meeting. The Yellow Jackets come in having won three of their last five straight up and have a legit good defense. As long as Georgia Tech can find cracks in the Notre Dame defense, it should be able to get the job done here. I'm taking the team that has played better basketball of late.
