2015 SEC Tournament Odds
NASHVILLE, TN (TheSpread) – The Kentucky Wildcats look to remain undefeated this week as they attempt to navigate the SEC Tournament. Here is a look at the odds to win this event.
The SEC Tournament is a standard 14-team event with the top four seeds having a bye into the quarterfinals and the 5-10 seeds awaiting in the second round. There will be two opening-round games on Wednesday and the finals will take place on Sunday. All games will be held from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
According to the latest oddsmakers, Kentucky is the overwhelming favorite to win this tournament, as it has 1/4 odds. The other short odds to win the SEC Tournament are Arkansas (10/1) and Georgia (14/1).
Kentucky is a perfect 31-0 this season and 18-0 in the SEC. The Wildcats are the top seed this week. Kentucky has dominated this tournament, winning 27 times, most of any time. The next most is Alabama, which is a six-time winner. Kentucky last won this tournament in 2011.
Arkansas is the No. 2 seed in the SEC Tournament. The Razorbacks are 24-7 on the season and 13-5 in conference play. Arkansas has won this tournament one time in program history, which came in 2000.
Georgia is the third seed in this tournament. The Bulldogs went 20-10 on the season and 11-7 in the SEC. Georgia is a two-time winner of this tournament, with the last title coming in 2008.
