The Mountain West Conference Tournament is a 10-team event starting on Wednesday with two opening-round games. The top six seeds have a bye into the quarterfinals. The tournament will conclude on Saturday and all games will be held from the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Boise State is the favorite to win this tournament, as it has been given 11/5 odds to do so. Other short odds to win are San Diego State (5/2) and Colorado State (3/1).
Boise State is the top seed in this tournament after going 24-7 on the season and 14-4 in conference play. Boise State has yet to win this tournament and it has never appeared in the finals.
San Diego State is the No. 2 seed this week. It also went 24-7 on the season and 14-4 in conference play. San Diego State is a four-time winner of this tournament, last winning in 2011.
Colorado State is the No. 3 seed this week. It was 25-5 during the season and 13-5 in conference play. Colorado State has won this tournament on time, which was back in 2003.
