Central Florida shot 22-of-53 from the floor, 6-of-18 from 3-point distance plus 8-of-13 at the free throw line. B.J. Taylor paced the Knights with 22 points on 8-of-19 shooting including 3-of-7 from 3-point range plus 3-of-5 from the free throw line. He also pulled down six rebounds. Owls record win at Huskies
Temple picked up a 78-71 victory Thursday at UConn to improve to 22-8 overall and 12-5 in conference play. The Owls led 35-30 at halftime en route to the win. Temple shot 27-of-55 from the floor, 7-of-12 from 3-point range plus 17-of-20 at the free throw line. Shizz Alston Jr. led the Owls with 34 points on 12-of-14 shooting including 4-of-5 from 3-point range plus 6-of-6 at the free throw line. He also notched five rebounds and two assists. College Basketball Betting Trends
The Knights are 8-0 ATS in their last eight games overall. Central Florida is 6-1 ATS in its last seven Saturday games.
The Owls are 1-5-1 ATS in the last seven meetings. The home team is 3-1-1 ATS in the last five meetings.
With how hot Central Florida is, it feels like the wrong team is favored. Of course, it could be a trap but the Owls have taken advantage of some weaker competition lately and lost 78-73 at Central Florida earlier this season. I think the Knights are the right play here and feel lucky you are getting points.
