FSU to keep BC winless in ACC?
The Florida State Seminoles hope to keep Boston College from getting its first ACC win when the two meet in the ACC Tournament today at 2PM ET.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Florida State is the clear favorite in this game, as the Seminoles are getting odds of -13 points against Boston College. The over/under total for the game has yet to be set. These two meet in the opening round of the ACC Tournament, which takes place from the Verizon Center in Washington D.C.
Florida State is 18-12 on the season, 8-10 in ACC games, 4-1 on a neutral floor and 11-14-1 against the spread. Boston College is 7-24 on the season, 0-18 against ACC opponents, 1-3 on a neutral floor and 9-16-1 against the spread. Florida State won the lone meeting this season, 72-62 on the road, pushing a 10-point spread. FSU has won four straight in the series.
Both of these teams struggled to cover in conference play, each going 6-11-1. However, Boston College hasn’t done too well in this situation, as a double-digit dog. The Eagles are just 5-10-1 when getting double figures this season. It’s not a position FSU has been accustomed to this season, but they already own a double-digit win over BC and know this is a game they should win easily. Look for the Seminoles to not mess around and try and cruise into the next round.
