Wildcats roll past Explorers

Davidson posted a 74-49 home win Tuesday night over LaSalle to improve to 15-12 overall and 9-6 in conference play. The Wildcats established a 39-23 halftime advantange en route to the victory. Kellan Grady paced Davidson with 22 points on 7-of-14 shooting including 1-of-3 from 3-point range plus 7-of-8 at the free throw line. He also tallied five rebounds, two assists and two steals. Jon-Axel Gudmundsson added 14 points, four dimes, three boards and two steals.

Flyers survive scare

Dayton recorded a 62-55 victory Tuesday night at George Mason to earn at least a share of the conference title with three games to play. The Flyers (26-2, 15-0 Atlantic 10) led 30-25 at halftime on their way to the win. Obi Toppin led Dayton with 19 points on 6-of-12 shooting plus 7-of-9 at the charity stripe. He also pulled down seven rebounds. Jalen Crutcher added 13 points, four boards and three assists.

College Basketball Betting Trends

The Wildcats are 2-6 ATS in their last eight road games. Davidson is 1-4 ATS in its last five Friday games.

The Flyers are 0-7 ATS in their last seven Friday games. The home team is 0-4-1 ATS in the last five meetings.

This is the first meeting of the season between these two teams, but last season the Wildcats lost by a slim 74-73 mark at home versus Dayton. This Flyers squad is a different beast, however, and with this being at University of Dayton Arena it's difficult to see Davidson hanging in there. Dayton is playing for the outright Atlantic 10 title tonight and still has a shot at a No. 1 seed. With all that motivation, I don't see the Flyers hanging a dud.
