College Basketball Betting Trends
Virginia Tech
The Hokies are 0-4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. Virginia Tech is 2-5 ATS in its last seven games following a straight up loss.
Notre Dame
The Fighting Irish are 2-5 ATS in their last seven Saturday games. Notre Dame is 1-7 ATS in its last eight home games.
Prediction:
This spread seems way short considering the quality of the two teams involved. Virginia Tech’s last road game was at a Pitt squad similar in talent level to Notre Dame and the Hokies won by six. Virginia Tech is ranked 10th nationally in adjusted offensive efficiency, while the Irish are only 122nd in defense. I think the Hokies show their superiority here and pull away to cover the spread on the road.
