Butler earned a 91-78 home victory Saturday night over DePaul to move to 15-11 overall and 6-7 in the Big East Conference. The Bulldogs outscored the Blue Demons 47-37 in the second half to pull away. Butler shot 31-of-57 from the floor, 12-of-28 from 3-point range and 17-of-25 at the free throw line. Kamar Baldwin tallied 25 points on 9-of-14 shooting including 2-of-3 from 3-point range and 5-of-6 at the free throw line to lead the way. He also had five rebounds, five assists and four steals. Sean McDermott contributed 15 points and six boards. Jordan Tucker registered 11 points in 23 minutes of action. Paul Jorgensen added 11 points and three assists off the bench.

Marquette shot 33-of-63 from the floor, 12-of-29 from 3-point range and 14-of-18 at the free throw line. Markus Howard paced the Golden Eagles with 36 points on 12-of-21 shooting including 4-of-9 from 3-point range plus 8-of-10 at the free throw line. He also notched four rebounds and three assists. College Basketball Betting Trends

Butler

The over is 5-0 in the last five Bulldogs games following an ATS win. The over is 9-4 in the last 13 Butler games overall.

Marquette

The under is 6-0-1 in the last seven Golden Eagles home games. The under is 5-2 in the last seven Marquette games on Wednesdays.

Prediction:

The Golden Eagles have held their last seven home opponents to 70 points or less and held Butler to only 58 points three weeks ago in an easy road win. While Marquette is stronger offensively, its defense has picked up over the last month and I think it continues here as it sends the Bulldogs to a rough night that keeps the total under its projection.
