Hawkeyes take down Hoosiers

Iowa earned a 77-72 victory Thursday night at Indiana to move to 18-5 overall and 7-5 in conference action. Jordan Bohannon paced the Hawkeyes with 25 points on 7-of-13 shooting including 5-of-8 from 3-point distance plus 6-of-7 at the free throw line. He also dished out six assists. Tyler Cook accounted for 21 points, seven boards, four assists and two steals. Joe Wieskamp added 13 points and two caroms. Iowa led 46-36 at halftime and held off the Hoosiers after the break. College Basketball Betting Trends

The Wildcats are 2-7 ATS in their last nine games overall. Northwestern is 1-4 ATS in its last five games overall.

The Hawkeyes are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games. Iowa is 7-2 ATS in its last nine games versus the Big Ten.

The spread is pretty big here, but the Hawkeyes are playing with plenty of confidence and have an elite offense. When guys like Bohannon step up in the scoring department, they can be nearly unbeatable. While Iowa is inconsistent, it seems to be gaining some stability now and I'm going to take my shots on the better team here to cover the spread.
