Arizona vs. Oregon State Pick
Should No. 5 Arizona run into any trouble when it goes on the road tonight to face Oregon State at 9PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Arizona is the clear favorite on the road, as the Wildcats are getting odds of -14.5 points against the Beavers. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 130 points. Arizona has won and covered the spread in its last two meetings with Oregon State.
Arizona is rolling along to a 9-0 start in the Pac-12. The Wildcats are now 20-2 on the year while going 11-9-2 against the spread with a 7-3 mark ATS in games away from home. Arizona has an impressive defensive team that is allowing just 63.6 points per game while the offense puts up 76.3 per game. Surprisingly, Arizona’s offense gets strong on the road, averaging 81.2 per game. Lauri Markkanen is leading the team with 16.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per game while Allonzo Trier is averaging 13.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game since joining the team.
Oregon State is the opposite of Arizona, starting out Pac-12 play 0-9. The Beavers are just 4-18 on the season. However, they have covered in three straight games to get to 8-12 ATS on the season. Oregon State doesn’t have much of an offense to contend with Arizona, as the Beavers average just 63.6 per game. Defensively, they give up 72 points per game. Their leading scorer of Tres Tinkle is out with a wrist injury. He averaged 20.2 points per game. Stephen Thompson Jr. is currently leading the team with 17.1 points and 4.3 rebounds per game while Drew Eubanks is adding 14.9 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.
Arizona has been rolling I don’t think Oregon State has the talent to hang. The Wildcats could certainly be looking past the Beavers, but Sean Miller usually has pretty good control of his team. The Wildcats may be the best team in the country and I think they will continue to make statements leading up to March Madness.
