Texas heating up at betting window
It will be a contrast of styles tonight in Waco when No. 17 Baylor and its formidable frontcourt takes on Texas and its fast-paced offense.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Bears are listed as a 5-point favorite versus the Longhorns while the over/under sits at 139 for tonight's 9:00PM ET tip-off. Texas enters play with a 14-7 record but is 9-11 against the spread, while Baylor is 17-4 overall and 5-9 in lined games.
Even though the Longhorns have had issues covering the spread this season, they've cashed for bettors in Waco. They're 4-1 against the number in their last five trips to Waco and the road team is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings between these two teams.
Texas has also been better at the betting window of late, covering in all four of its last four games. The Longhorns are also 4-1 against the number in their last five conference games and 4-1 ATS in their last five games versus a team with a winning straight up record.
Baylor, meanwhile, has struggled at the window. The Bears are 0-3-1 against the number in their last four games overall and have failed to cover in seven of their lat 10 home games.
