The Cardinals are having a good season at 16-3 despite a lot of controversy away from the court with an NCAA investigation for how the Cardinals deal with players and recruits. Despite the 16 wins this season, the Cardinals are just 2-3 overall on the road and 1-4 against the spread in those five road games. Tonight, the Cardinals face the Hokies (12-8, 8-6 ATS).

According to oddsmakers at RealBets, Louisville is favored on the road today, as the Cardinals are getting odds of -8 points against the Hokies. The over/under total has yet to be set.

The Cardinals haven’t exactly had an easy road schedule, with losses coming to Kentucky and Clemson, but this is the biggest road spread they have had this season. They just failed to cover a 6.5-point spread in a 75-71 win at Georgia Tech on Saturday and they also couldn’t cover a 6-point spread at N.C. State back on Jan. 7. The Hokies come into this game having covered the spread in four straight overall and four straight home games. They have also covered in their last two games as an 8-point underdog or more.
