Gamecocks down Aggies

South Carolina rolled to an 81-67 victory Saturday afternoon at Texas A&M to improve to 10-7 overall and 2-2 in conference action. The Gamecocks outscored the Aggies 42-34 in the second half to pull away. Jair Bolden led USC with 19 points off the bench on 7-of-12 shooting including 5-of-7 from 3-point range. He also notched six assists, four rebounds and two steals. Justin Minaya contributed 18 points, eight boards, five assists and two blocked shots. Jermaine Couisnard contributed 17 points, three dimes and two rebounds. A.J. Lawson added 13 points and four caroms.

Tigers stumble at Gators

Auburn lost by a score of 69-47 Saturday afternoon at Florida to drop to 15-2 overall and 3-2 in conference play. The Tigers were outscored 41-24 in the second half of the defeat. Danjel Purifoy led Auburn with 10 off the bench on 3-of-11 shooting including 1-of-6 from 3-point range plus 3-of-4 at the free throw line. He also recorded four rebounds and two assists. College Basketball Betting Trends

South Carolina

The Gamecocks are 5-0 ATS in their last five road games. South Carolina is 5-1 ATS in its last six Wednesday games.

The Tigers are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall. The favorite is 6-17 ATS in the last 23 meetings.

The Tigers are difficult to trust right now, especially since they were never quite as good as their undefeated record suggested prior to the last two setbacks. I see this spread a little too wide tonight. The series was split last season, with Auburn winning by nine at home. While USC has its own issues, it is also playing with a lot of confidence since the win over Kentucky. I'd rather take the points here on the team playing better ball at the moment.
