Sooners roll past Horned Frogs

Oklahoma secured an 83-63 home victory Saturday over Texas Christian to improve to 12-5 overall and 3-2 in the Big 12 Conference. The Sooners led 38-26 at halftime and continued to pad the lead after the break. Brady Manek paced Oklahoma with 31 points on 10-of-15 shooting including 7-of-9 from 3-point distance plus 4-of-5 at the free throw line. He also pulled down nine rebounds. Austin Reaves tallied 14 points, five boards and five assists. Kristian Doolittle accounted for 11 points, four caroms, three assists and two steals. Devion Harmon added 10 points, two rebounds and two dimes.

Bears win 14th straight

Baylor earned a 75-68 win Saturday at Oklahoma State to move to 15-1 overall and 5-0 in conference play. The Bears outscored the Cowboys 48-32 in the second half after trailing by nine at halftime. Freddie Gillespie paced Baylor with 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting plus 5-of-6 at the charity stripe. He also notched four rebounds, four blocked shots and two steals. Jared Butler also scored 17 to go with six assists and three steals. Devonte Bandoo added 16 points, three boards and two dimes off the bench.

College Basketball Betting Trends

The Sooners are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games overall. Oklahoma is 1-4 ATS in its last five road games.

The Bears are 5-0 ATS in their last five games overall. Baylor is 3-1-1 ATS in its last five Monday games.

Baylor showed it can be vulnerable for at least one half Saturday before storming back for the win. But back at home, I see another impressive triumph in the cards for the Bears. The Sooners have stumbled a lot on the road and this is as tough of a test as they have had. With Baylor having won its last three home games by at least 13 points, I see its elite defense overwhelming Oklahoma and allowing the hosts to pull away for a decisive victory.
