Ducks down Sun Devils

Oregon earned a 78-69 home victory Saturday night over Arizona State to improve to 14-3 overall and 3-1 in Pac-12 Conference play. The Ducks led 40-31 at halftime en route to the win. Payton Pritchard paced Oregon with 29 points on 9-of-16 shooting including 6-of-9 from 3-point distance plus 5-of-5 at the free throw line. He also registered six assists and three rebounds. Chris Duarte accounted for 20 points and six boards. Shakur Juiston added 11 points, nine caroms and three assists.

Cougars crushed by Cardinal

Washington State fell by a score of 88-62 Saturday at Stanford to drop to 10-7 overall and 1-3 on the road. The Cougars trailed 46-18 at halftime on their way to the lopsided defeat. Isaac Bonton led WSU with 15 points on 4-of-11 shooting including 3-of-7 from 3-point range plus 4-of-5 at the charity stripe. He also registered four assists and three rebounds. Daron Henson added 12 points and two boards off the bench.

College Basketball Betting Trends

The Ducks are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games as a road favorite. Oregon is 22-6 ATS in its last 28 games overall.

Washington State

The Cougars are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall. The underdog is 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings.

The Ducks have an elite offense, but are on the road playing a team that is better on the defensive end than on offense. The Cougars are 7-2 straight up at home this season and will be playing with some pride on the line after dropping two straight on the road including Saturday's obliteration. I think Washington State can stay within the number here and make it relatively interesting.
