Bearcats ease past Knights

Cincinnati cruised to a 68-54 road win Saturday at Central Florida to improve to 10-6 overall and 3-1 in American Athletic Conference action. The Bearcats outscored the Knights 42-25 in the second half after trailing by three at halftime. Keith Williams paced Cincinnati with 16 points on 4-of-10 shooting including 1-of-3 from 3-point range plus 7-of-7 at the free throw line. He also pulled down six rebounds. Tre Scott contributed 14 points, 11 boards, four assists and four steals. Chris Vogt added 13 points and three caroms.

Tigers get past Bulls

Memphis secured a 68-64 win Sunday at South Florida to move to 13-3 overall and 3-1 in conference play. Precious Achiuwa paced the Tigers with 22 points on 9-of-12 shooting including 1-of-2 from 3-point range plus 3-of-8 at the charity stripe. He also racked up 11 rebounds and five blocked shots. Tyler Harris tallied 17 points, two assists and two steals off the bench. Lester Quinones added 13 points in 22 minutes of action. Memphis outscored the Bulls 39-27 in the second half after trailing by eight at the break.

College Basketball Betting Trends

The Bearcats are 8-20 ATS in their last 28 games overall. Cincinnati is 3-11 ATS in its last 14 games as an underdog.

The Tigers are 1-5 ATS in their last six Thursday games. The home team is 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings.

The Tigers have not played a very tough schedule and have lost straight up to three of the six top 100 opponents on their schedule thus far. The Bearcats have defeated just as many top 100 teams and should be hungry for this road matchup. Cincinnati appears to be an improving team and with what looks to be a fairly even matchup, I'd rather take the points in this spot.
