Blue Devils hammer Demon Deacons

Duke rolled to an 87-65 victory at Wake Forest Tuesday night to improve to 13-1 overall and 2-0 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Zion Williamson paced the Blue Devils with 30 points on 13-of-16 shooting including 3-of-4 on 3-point tries plus 1-of-1 at the free throw line. He also tallied 10 rebounds, five assists and four steals. R.J. Barrett registered 21 points and seven rebounds. Cam Reddish added 10 points and two boards. Duke led by eight at halftime and proceeded to outscore the hosts 45-31 after the break. The Blue Devils shot 36-of-62 from the floor, 7-of-23 from 3-point range and 8-of-16 at the free throw line.

Seminoles hold off Hurricanes

Florida State bounced back from a loss with a 68-62 Wednesday night at home over Miami. David Nichols paced the Seminoles (13-2, 1-1) with 13 points off the bench on 5-of-8 shooting including 1-of-3 from 3-point range plus 2-of-3 on free throws. He also dished out three assists. P.J. Savoy added 10 points in 17 minutes as a reserve. Florida State led 33-29 at halftime and held on from there. The Seminoles shots 27-of-64 from the field, 6-of-26 on 3-point tries and 8-o-13 at the charity stripe.

College Basketball Betting Trends

Duke

The Blue Devils are 6-0 ATS in their last six Saturday games. Duke is 4-0 ATS in its last four games following an ATS win.

Florida State

The Seminoles are 8-2-1 ATS in their last nine Saturday games. Florida State is 1-9 ATS in its last 10 games versus the ACC.

Prediction:

The Blue Devils have won every game in this winning streak by double digits, but I think they are tested a little bit more on the road today. Six of the eight wins have been at home, while Duke also beat Texas Tech 69-58 on a neutral court. The lone road win was last game over an overmatched Wake Forest squad. The Seminoles won't be nearly as overmatched as they are 16th nationally in adjusted defensive efficiency. Duke will likely eventually solve FSU, but I'm betting it won't be until the hosts at least cover the spread.
