Pac-12 College Basketball Predictions: Oregon vs. Oregon State 1/5/18

Which rival will manage to best the other when Oregon State plays host to Oregon tonight at 10PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Oregon is favored on the road tonight, as the Ducks are getting odds of -2.5 points against Oregon State. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 143 points. Tonight’s game takes place from Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Oregon and will air live on FS1.

Oregon is coming off a 77-62 win over Colorado for its sixth win in seven games. The Ducks are 11-4 overall, 1-1 in the Pac-12 and 6-8 against the spread. Oregon is just 3-7 ATS in its last 10. The Ducks are putting up 82.8 points per game on offense while allowing 69.9 per contest. Payton Pritchard is leading Oregon with 15.4 points and 4.3 assists per game while Troy Brown is adding 12.7 points and 7.6 rebounds per contest.

Oregon State is coming off a 66-64 loss to Utah last weekend for its second loss in three games. The Beavers are now 9-5 on the season, 1-1 in the Pac-12 and 4-10 against the spread. The Beavers are only 1-4 ATS in their last five. Oregon State averages 75.2 points per game on offense while allowing 68.9 per game on defense. Tres Tinkle is averaging 18.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game to lead Oregon State while Stephen Thompson Jr. is adding 16.6 points per contest.

Bet on Oregon vs. Oregon State

Oregon has won three straight meetings with Oregon State, covering the spread in the last two meetings as well. The Ducks have been playing pretty well in recent weeks despite a setback at home against Utah. The Ducks have the better offense and a comparable defense. While Oregon has struggled to score on the road in previous games, I don’t think Oregon State will have enough to stop them. The public betting is backing Oregon tonight and I am with the Ducks as well.
