SAN ANTONIO (AP) -Tony Parker hobbled back to the San Antonio locker room Friday in the first quarter against Miami after appearing to injure his left ankle.
Parker, playing in his first game since scoring 55 points at Minnesota on Wednesday, went down after missing a layup. The All-Star winced and stayed crouched over on the baseline before limping back to the locker room.
The extent of his injury was not immediately clear.
Parker, the NBA’s leading scorer, was not putting weight on his left leg while walking off the court.
The injury is another blow to the Spurs. They are already without Manu Ginobili, their leading scorer last season, who is still recovering from ankle surgery this offseason.
