MILWAUKEE (AP) -Andrew Bogut has a sprained left wrist, the Milwaukee Bucks said Thursday after the 7-foot center had more tests to determine the severity of the injury.
Bogut left the Bucks’ exhibition game at Denver on Tuesday night in the third quarter. X-rays after the game were negative, and an MRI exam on Wednesday revealed no broken bones or other serious problems.
The team said Bogut, the No. 1 pick of the 2005 draft, will not be available for the Bucks’ final two exhibition games.
His status is listed as day-to-day on the injury report, and it’s not yet decided whether Bogut will play in Milwaukee’s regular-season opener on Oct. 31 in Orlando.
