The 17 points are the most he’s scored in a game since November 23, when he put up 21 in a win over the Pelicans. McDermott’s ranked outside the top 200 in 9-cat over the last two weeks and is barely within the top 300 for the season. For him to be of any value to fantasy leagues, he will need a change of scenery before the trade deadline.

LeBron James accumulated 46 points (16-of-29 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), eight rebounds, seven assists, two steals, one block, and nine 3-pointers in Tuesday’s 133-115 loss to the Clippers. James, who entered Tuesday shooting a career-worst 28.8% from three on the season, had the best night of his NBA career in that area. The nine 3-pointers are a career-high for James, who is also the first player age 35 or older to do that in an NBA game. Also, he now has at least one 40-point game against every NBA team. LeBron’s 38 years old, but he hasn’t looked like it, and the pending return of Anthony Davis will give the King some welcome help.
