Nicolas Claxton recorded a double-double on Tuesday with 18 points (8-for-9 FGs), 13 rebounds, one assist, one steal and four blocks against the Rockets. Claxton’s fantasy value didn’t take a huge hit after Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving were traded away, but his scoring has been way down as he’s playing alongside an entirely new starting lineup. This was just his second time scoring in double figures since the trade deadline, and his highest-scoring game since January. Hopefully his scoring will stay this high as he builds chemistry with his new teammates, though his value should remain high either way.
Milwaukee Bucks DFS Spin
Khris Middleton returned to the starting lineup on Tuesday and finished with 24 points (5-for-9 FGs, 13-for-14 FTs), four rebounds, 11 assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in a 134-123 win over Orlando. This was only Middleton’s eighth start of the season, as they have slowly eased him into the rotation. With Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday sidelined, Middleton slid into the starting unit and played the role of facilitator. He fell an assist shy of tying his career-high, as he reached double-digit assists for just the 12th time in his career. We’ll see if Middleton stays in the starting unit when Giannis and Holiday return to the lineup, though he did play a season-high 31 minutes, which is encouraging for his value the rest of the way.
