Bam Adebayo dominated the Pelicans on Wednesday with 26 points (11-for-15 FGs), eight rebounds, one assist and two steals in a 124-98 win. Bam has been a fantasy star all season, but he has upped his numbers to provide second round value over the past week. He has scored at least 20 points in 10 of his last 11 games, and he’s averaging a career-high 21.5 points per game this season. The Heat are finally healthy, and they now sit at sixth place in the East. Bam will continue to post excellent value for the managers that have him rostered, and Miami should continue to climb up the standings with their healthy roster.
Dallas Mavericks DFS Spin
Christian Wood (fractured left thumb) will be re-evaluated in one week. Wood injured his thumb during Wednesday’s loss to the Hawks and will miss at least three games (the fourth is against Phoenix on January 26, the day he’ll be re-evaluated). Wood’s absence leaves the Mavericks in a tough spot in the post. Dwight Powell is already starting, so he won’t be impacted much. Davis Bertans and JaVale McGee may pick up a few more minutes, especially if Tim Hardaway Jr. (ankle) remains sidelined. Hardaway is the likely player to start, provided he’s cleared to return as soon as Friday’s game against the Heat.
