Sunday is the 75th addition of the NBA All-Star Game. The format is a round-robin style tournament with 3 teams playing 4 games. Each game lasts 12 minutes, and the teams with the best records advance to the championship game. Point differential will be used as a tie-breaker if all 3 teams go 1-1. The three teams will be: Team USA Stars, Team USA Stripes, and Team World. The first game begins at 5:00 PM ET on NBC and Peacock. I’ll go over the rosters and make a few picks below. All odds are courtesy of FanDuel.com. Read on for our 2026 NBA All-Star Game Best Bets Feb. 15 article.

NBA All-Star Game Best Bet: Player Prop
When handicapping player props for the NBA All-Star Game, it helps to think about effort and motivation. Boston Celtics small forward Jaylen Brown will be playing in his fifth NBA All-Star Game on Sunday night. He’s a member of Team USA Stripes, which is mainly composed of veteran players like Kevin Durant, LeBron James, and Kawhi Leonard. Stephen Curry was slated to be a member of Team USA Stripes, but will sit out with an injury.
In Jaylen Brown’s first 4 All-Star Games, he scored 22, 35, 36, and 12 points. His point total was lower in the fourth game because the format was different and he only ended up playing 14 minutes. I could see him easily reaching the 12-point mark again on Sunday, especially if his team advances to the championship and he plays the bulk of his team’s minutes. Jaylen Brown’s odds to score 10+ points are +172 on FanDuel, but I think he’s a better bet score 12+ points, which is nearly 3-to-1 at +290.
NBA All-Star Game Best Bet: Player Prop – Jaylen Brown to score 12+ points (+290).
NBA All-Star Game Best Bet: Game MVP
Sunday will be San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama’s second All-Star Game. He performed well in last year’s mid-season classic, putting up 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks in 14 minutes. He’ll be suiting up for Team World on Sunday, and they are the odds-on favorite to win the All-Star Game’s round-robin tournament.
Some pre-game quotes from Victor Wembanyama are also encouraging. The 22-year-old French big man was asked about how he planned to contribute to making the game more competitive on Sunday. In an article by ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, Wembanyama talked about making “Exclamation point plays, playing in a solid manner, and sharing the ball with energy.” As far as expending more effort was concerned, the man known as The Alien added, “If you share that energy, people feel like they have a responsibility to share it back to you.”
You could argue that Victor Wembanyama has already had his NBA coming out party. But if he plays well and dominates the game on the way to a decisive Team World victory, then an MVP award in the NBA All-Star Game would make it official. At nearly 3-to-1 odds on FanDuel, I feel like that’s a good value bet to make.
NBA All-Star Game Best Bet: Game MVP – Victor Wembanyama +290.
NBA All-Star Game Best Bet: Game Result
Team World will have 3 players making their first NBA All-Star Game on Sunday: Nuggets guard Jamal Murray, Heat guard Norman Powell, and Trail Blazers forward Deni Avdija. Those three players should be motivated to play hard in their first time in the All-Star Game, especially because they’ll be representing their home countries for Team World.
Both Luka Doncic and Nikola Jokic will be members of Team World, but they are both famous for not really caring about the actual All-Star Game. Rockets center Alperen Sengun will be playing in his second All-Star Game, and could soak up Jokic’s minutes if the 3-time MVP doesn’t want to play every minute of every game. The aforementioned Deni Avdija could step in for Luka Doncic if the Lakers guard wants to take it easy on Sunday.
Team World will also have Victor Wembanyama on their squad. I covered his motivations above, and believe that how much he cares could be the driving force behind how this All-Star Game is going to go. Team World -2.5 over Team USA Stars in the first game of the night is an attractive bet, but if you think that Team World is going to win the tournament, then the money line at +155 is a superior wager. That’s what I’m backing on Sunday.
NBA All-Star Game Best Bet: Game Result – Team World +155
