NBA All-Star Game Odds
The 2009 NBA All-Star Game takes place this Sunday, February 15 live from Phoenix and will feature the best of the best from the Eastern and Western Conferences.
Both squads are stacked, with the Western Conference starting Chris Paul (Hornets) and Kobe Bryant at the guard positions, Amare Stoudemire (Suns) and Tim Duncan (Spurs) at the two forward spots, and Yao Ming (Rockets) at center.
The Eastern Conference All-Star team is stacked as well, with Allen Iverson (Pistons), Dwyane Wade (Heat), LeBron James (Cavs), Kevin Garnett (Celtics) and Dwight Howard (Magic) listed as the starting five.
In last year’s NBA All-Star Game, the East took up a 134-128 victory. It was the East’s third win in the past four years, with the West only winning once (a 153-132 final in 2007) during that span. But since 2000, the Western Conference has a slight 5-4 edge over the East in the All-Star Game.
LeBron James, who will once again suit up for the East this year, won the MVP Award in 2008. He also won the award in 2006, while Kobe Bryant of the Lakers won the game’s MVP Award in 2007 and 2002.
Oddsmakers have not released the official point spread over over/under total for the 2009 All-Star Game yet, so make sure to check back. But for complete prop odds on this weekend’s game, see below.
