Toronto Raptors Fantasy Spin

Coach Nick Nurse said prior to Saturday's game that he thinks Kawhi Leonard will start playing full back-to-backs come January. "I think we are there," Nurse said. "I think, after we get here to the new year, we'll be there. No promises, but I think we're there." We've seen this movie before with Leonard, who sat out Saturday's second leg of a back-to-back for load management. This might be the most confident Nurse has been in this conversation, but until Kawhi actually plays both legs of a back-to-back set, it will just talk. His first chance will be the weekend of Jan. 5 and 6, which is the first of the Raptors' three back-to-backs of the month.

Miami Heat Fantasy Spin

Dion Waiters (foot) won't play on Wednesday vs. the Raptors. Waiters recently got through a full practice with the Heat, but he'll need to go through a few more before he's cleared to return. He's close, but we don't anticipate him being much of a factor in fantasy hoops.

NBA Betting Trends

The under is 5-2 in the Raptors’ last seven conference games and 5-1 in their last six games coming off a loss.

The under is 5-0 in the Heat’s last five home games and is 9-3 in their last 12 games overall.

The Raptors have been a poor bet in this series. Toronto is also 2-5 against the spread in its last seven road games and 1-4 ATS in tits last five games overall. On the other side, the Heat are a perfect 5-0 against the spread in their last five games overall and are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games.
