Wednesday NBA Betting Report
The Pacers and Warriors have been profitable for bettors in home favorite roles this season and that’s the scenarios the two teams find themselves in tonight.
Kings at Pacers, 7:00PM ET
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag, the Pacers are 6.5-point home underdogs versus the Kings while the over/under currently sits at 212 points, down from 213. As a home favorite in 2015, Indiana is 6-3 against the spread, winning by an average margin of 11.9 points and covering the spread at a +6.6 margin. The Kings haven’t been horrible as an away underdog, going 6-6 against the spread but losing by an average margin of 5.0.
Jazz at Warriors, 10:30PM ET
The Warriors haven’t been as profitable as the Pacers as a home favorite this season, but they are 7-5 at the betting window in that role this season, winning by an average margin of 17.6. The 26-1 Warriors will be a heavy home favorite tonight over the Jazz, who are 14-point underdogs. The total for this matchup currently sits at 208 points.
Spurs at Timberwolves, 8:00PM ET
The T-Wolves aren’t a home favorite tonight but they have been a horrible bet as a home team in general this season. Minnesota is just 2-11-1 against the spread as a home team this season, which isn’t a good sign with the Spurs coming to town tonight. San Antonio is 24-5 straight up this season and 20-9 at the betting window. As an away favorite, the Spurs are also 8-4 against the spread, winning by an average margin of 11 points, which is the number they’re favored to beat the Timberwolves by tonight.
