Pistons vs. Warriors Pick
Will the Detroit Pistons complete a season series sweep over the visiting Golden State Warriors tonight at 7PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Warriors are a 6-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is set at 211 points.
Golden State enters with a 20-6 overall record and 13-13 ATS after a 101-87 victory at the Hornets, its fifth straight win. Detroit is 14-10 overall and 15-7-2 following a 104-100 loss at the Bucks, its fourth consecutive defeat. The Pistons won the first meeting this season by a count of 115-107 at Golden State. The Warriors are 2-1 straight up and 1-2 ATS in three meetings since the start of last season. The over is 3-0.
The Warriors were led by Kevin Durant as he notched a triple-double of 35 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists plus two blocked shots in the win at Charlotte. Klay Thompson contributed 22 points, four rebounds and three assists. Nick Young added 10 points off the bench. Golden State led 58-37 at halftime.
Andre Drummond had a monster game with 27 points, 20 rebounds and six assists in the loss at Milwaukee. Tobias Harris had 21 points, five rebounds and three steals. Avery Bradley added 20 points and two assists. The Pistons were outscored 28-24 in the fourth quarter.
Golden State is 4-0 ATS in its last four games overall. The under is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings in Detroit.
Detroit struggled on its road trip, but now return home to face a Golden State team it has already beaten and now without its star point guard in Steph Curry. This should be a fun game to watch and I believe the Pistons rally together, play strong team basketball and cover the spread here. Look for Reggie Jackson to have a big night.
