According to oddsmakers at, Memphis is the slight favorite at home, as the Grizzlies are getting odds of -1 point against the Clippers. The over/under total for the contest is currently listed at 212.5 points. The public betting currently has 65 percent going on the Grizzlies at home. This information is subject to change, however, so be sure to check out our NBA Public Betting Page for updated figures on the game.

Clippers lead the West

The Clippers are tied for first in the Western Conference right now following a 129-126 win at New Orleans on Monday. Los Angeles is 16-7 on the year, 15-8 against the spread and 15-8 with the over. The Clippers have covered in five of their last six games.

Los Angeles has been great on offense this season, averaging 117.7 points per game while shooting 47.6 percent from the field and 38.3 percent from the 3-point line. Defensively, the Clippers are giving up 112.9 points per game despite holding opponents to just 44.2 percent shooting. Tobias Harris is averaging 21.6 points and 8.4 rebounds per game to lead the Clippers while Danilo Gallinari is averaging 19.2 points and 6.0 rebounds per contest.

Grizz drop another

The Grizzlies are coming off a 103-95 loss at Philadelphia on Sunday. They have lost four of their last five games. Memphis is now 13-9 on the season, 13-9 against the spread and 12-10 with the under. The Grizzlies have failed to cover in four of their last five as well.

Memphis has been led this season by its defense, allowing just 103.1 points per game while holding opponents to 45.1 percent shooting. Offensively, the Grizzlies are scoring just 104.4 points per game and shooting 45.7 percent as a team. Mike Conley has been leading the team with 21.1 points and 6.6 assists per game while Marc Gasol is adding 18 points, 9.4 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.

NBA Betting Trends

Los Angeles

The Clippers have covered the spread in five of their last six conference games and in five of their last seven on the road.

The Grizzlies are 10-3 against the spread in their last 13 home games and 6-0 ATS in their last six when playing on two days of rest.

These two went to OT in Los Angeles a few weeks ago before the Clippers came away with a five-point win. Today will be Los Angeles third game in four days, all of which have been on the road. I expect the Clippers to have some tired legs down the stretch, which should allow Memphis to lock in on defense. The Grizzlies have had just one game the last five days and should be fresh. I think they will be able to handle the hot Clippers tonight.

NBA Prediction: Memphis Grizzlies -1
